Comfortable stopover

This is a favourite area for us when visiting Johannesburg en route to London. Although it's a long way from the airport we like the relative isolation and being a few hours drive to the Madikwe Reserve - one of our favourite game reserves.

Misty Hills is in the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg.

We find it great to unwind after a long flight and be somewhere completely different.

The staff are great , we got upgraded and the facilities are good as well. It may not be 5 star , but I think it's well worth the stopover and we'll be back.
